Now we are old

Today is Saturday August 19, 2006

Dementia is catching up to me faster than I can run, so I can't remember too very much, like to close the gate or what day the party is. I am now living in a multiple choice world, where I can only answer a question if I can see the possibilities Old age is as Bette Davis said.
I'm going out to walk my dog Blaze who is neurotic and has seizures. He had surgery to remove tons and pounds of cloth from all the toys and things he has eaten in the last years. But he does go for the walk with me and it is a beauty of a walk with bowers of green, green everywhere. And a creek that I call a river to walk down to and to listen to. So that should be fine. Don is making a meatloaf. He cooks every day but Friday when I do the good deed. Yesterday we had bran muffins, rice pudding, salmon patties and green salad. And candles, we have candles on Fridays and a table cloth. very couth. I wish my kids could all come for family dinner on Fridays.
