To get back to the purpose of this blog, Now We Are Old, I must remind you that one day you will look in the mirror and say, My God (or goodness) I am looking just like my mother or father as the case may be. It is bound to happen even if your mother never matured as mine did not. I looked in the mirror and thought I was beginning to look like my step-mother. It is a strange realization to see "old" and you will, but maybe not yet. Rocks are old. Flowers get old. My socks get old. Our faces get old. It will happen to us all.
