From Aimee and Lynda. Way to go Tori.

After a long selection process, Tori was chosen last February as a United States delegate to India with the Children's International Summer Village program (CISV). She left on Friday morning, December 26th, and arrived in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India at 3:00 am this morning, (12:30 pm in India). She is a part of a group of children from 23 different countries that will be working together over the next month with the focus on promoting peace through gaining understanding of others across cultural and language boundaries. She will be in India a month, returning January 25th. During her time in India, she will spend two weekends with sponsoring families involved with CISV in India.

Tori's chaperone called us soon after their arrival, saying the trip was great and everything went smoothly. The children were met at the Montessouri school where they will be staying by an Indian news crew and people from the village with leis made of roses for each of the 90 children. This experience will surely change each of their lives.
